McKayla Barber
McKayla Barber is an industrial designer and design strategist at Beyond Design, a strategic product development firm in Chicago, IL. As a design consultant, McKayla has had the opportunity to work on a vast array of projects, across industries ranging from audio equipment to appliances, for clients such as Yamaha, Instant Pot, and Zebra Technologies. She specializes in helping clients turn insights into innovative, realized products and solutions.
Beyond her career as an industrial designer, McKayla is also one of the co-founders of Women in ID Chicago, an organization with the goal of fostering a community for women in industrial design and closing the gender gap in the design industry. In her free time (and when Chicago weather allows), McKayla likes to rock climb, camp with friends, and hike.

Wacom provides interactive pen displays, pen tablets, and styluses to equip and inspire everyone make the world a more creative place.
